The CLASS OF 2019 SENIOR WALK is an inspirational rite of passage for graduating seniors from SRHS and ALA, who will make their way through SRES, ECEC, and SRHS to encourage younger students to pursue their high school diploma and beyond.
Seniors (24 from SRHS and 19 from ALA!!!) will don their caps and gowns and walk through cheering throngs of students, teachers, and well-wishers.
Their journey will begin at SRES at 8 a.m. in the center courtyard (visitors must sign-in at the front office).
Then, around
8:30 a.m., the seniors will walk through the north gate connecting the SRES campus with the
ECEC campus, and meet Early Head Start and Head Start students along the sidewalk for more graduation awesomeness (visitors must sign-in at the front office).
Finally, the seniors will head to
SRHS around 9 a.m. for a celebratory walk around their school (visitors must check-in at the front office).
Everyone looks forward to this fun and motivating ritual year after year, and
we'd love to have staff, families, and Community members come out to cheer on the seniors and congratulate them for all their hard work and accomplishments.
