Celebrate all things literacy with Salt River Schools & our Community partners at our annual
Read Across America event! Dress up as your favorite book character;
ALL youth ages 18 & younger will go home with special literacy goodies along with breakfast & lunch meals!
The Read Across America Drive-up Literacy Celebration at Meal Distribution, which is located at the ECEC (4836 N. Center St.). will be held
Friday, March 5, from 10-11:30 a.m. Face masks are required!
ECEC & SRES staff dressed like Dr. Seuss, Fancy Nancy, Captain Underpants, cookie-eating mice, Harry Potter & more will be there! They’ll be joined by our partner departments, including the
NYCP Literacy for All program, Salt River Tribal Library & SRPMIC HHS Injury & Prevention, among others!
We'll be giving out FREE books, car seats/installations, ice cream donated by Cold Stone Creamery, literacy activities & more!
